Parking on Haywood Street, and everything worth knowing before you visit.
Downtown Asheville is a joy on foot and a small puzzle by car. Here is the honest local answer.
The easy option is the Rankin Avenue garage, one block away. A garage is the calm choice downtown: you park once, nothing is ticking while you are on the table, and the walk to 35 Haywood Street takes about two minutes. Street parking on Haywood itself does exist and works when luck cooperates, but it is metered and popular, and nothing undoes an hour of bodywork like hurrying back to a meter.
Give yourself a few unhurried minutes. The sanctuary is Suite 203, one flight up. Your door code arrives by text the day before, so there is nothing to check in for and no desk to wait at. Come as you are.
Afterward you will be standing in the middle of the best walking city in the mountains, moving noticeably slower than everyone around you. There are worse fates.
